Overview of Fairmont Banff Springs
Known as Canada’s ‘Castle in the Rockies’, The Fairmont Banff Springs dates back to the late 1880’s. This iconic hotel enjoys a secluded location amidst the wilderness of the Banff National Park, but is just a few minutes bus ride from the town of Banff.
The grandeur and opulence of The Fairmont Banff Springs is evident both inside and out. The exterior imitates a baronial castle and the interior is styled with old-world sophistication. There are over 760 rooms and suites in the hotel and all have been beautifully furnished with modern touches.
The hotel is a resort in itself with wealth of amenities to reflect its 5* status. 5 restaurants, 4 lounges and a pantry offer a variety of food and drink options. A world-class spa and fitness centre is home to a gym, steam rooms, whirlpools, saunas, indoor and heated outdoor pool with spectacular views of the Rockies, as well as a children’s wading pool. The hotel also features a 4-lane bowling alley. So, if you're after a ski holiday to remember, Fairmont Banff Springs is the perfect accommodation choice.
