Overview
Located just a short walk from the ski lifts of Upper Village; the Four Seasons Resort is one of the most prestigious hotels in Whistler. Priding itself on personal service, it has been awarded the AAA 5 diamond, the highest hotel rating in North America.
Combining modest luxury with European style, each spacious room features a fireplace and balcony set in cosy wood interiors as well as relaxing deep-soaking bathtubs.
The Four Seasons Resort is host to the steakhouse, ‘Sidecut’, offering a fire-lit setting with superb views over the Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The hotel also has its very own cocktail lounge, ‘Sidecut bar’ often playing live music from local musicians, as well as the brand new 'Sidecup' coffee bar for your morning java fix.
There are a wide range of facilities on offer at the hotel, including the Spa, hot tubs, steam rooms, and heated outdoor pool.
What we like
- Brand new Sidecup coffee shop (we like the play of the existing Sidecut steak-house)
- Fantastic personal service, the hotel is half the size of other luxury hotels in Whistler with the sole purpose of giving better individual service
- Intimate feel to the hotel and fantastic steak - the best in Whistler we'd say
Worth knowing
- Four Seasons offers plenty of perks as standard from a daily wine club to s'mores round the fire pit, a hot chocolate station, fitness classes and a village shuttle. It's all complimentary including the resort fees.
- They love to give personal service so let us know of any special events such as birthdays and we'll put in a good word
- Ski valet service here is the dream - we say no more
