The 5* Koh-I Nor Hotel, by Les Etincelles, is situated at a heady 2,364m altitude, is officially the highest 5-star hotel in Europe and enjoys majestic views over the resort of Val Thorens and the Three Valleys ski area.
This ski in, ski out hotel combines excellent facilities, friendly service, luxury accommodation and first-class cuisine.
Renowned chef Eric Samson oversees the three restaurants at the Koh-I Nor. In L'Atelier d'Eric you'll find a menu of international dishes; For guests that have booked Half Board this is where your 5-course half-board dinner will be served. There's also Le Diamant Noir, an à la carte gastronomic experience featuring truffles in many dishes; one 3-course meal is included for half-board stays of 4 nights minimum. Finally, there's La Cave, specializing in cheese dishes with a wide selection of fine wines. The complimentary breakfast includes a generous buffet with fruits, eggs, cold meats and pastries.
There is a superb spa and wellness facility, offering a wide range of options, including two swimming pools, a fitness room, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, salt wall, ice fountain, experience showers, solarium and a relaxation zone. The hotel has a ski room, and a ski hire shop on site to rent equipment directly. A free shuttle service around the resort is available.
The Koh-I Nor is ski-in, ski-out and found in the heart of the Val Thorens ski area. The 5-star hotel is just above the town, a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants.

Junior Suite
The spacious rooms with modern and refined design, offer a soothing atmosphere thanks to all the modern comfort. The junior suite options include a South-east-facing 43m2 room suited for 2 to 4 guests and a north-west-facing 48m2 suited for 2/3 guests. Both include a parent room as well as an alcove sleeping option.
Prestige Suite
This warm and meticulously designed room with a mezzanine offers all the modern comfort, with high-end equipment. The spacious 60m2 room is suited for 2 to 4 guests and includes a separate room, a mezzanine room and a large lounge. Situated on the 7th floor with a South-east-facing balcony, the suite has a wonderful view over the resort and the mountains.

Due to the fact that flights into Chambery and Grenoble tend to only be available on the weekends, we use Geneva as our main airport.
