Overview
You don’t get much more luxurious than The Chedi Andermatt. Known as one of the most impressive ski hotels in the world, this 5* gem is set within the very centre of Andermatt, right opposite the Andermatt train station.
The hotel's impressive interiors, designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy, are an intriguing mix of alpine warmth and Asian flair. Granite flooring, dark wood furnishings and atmospheric lighting combine to create a hotel that is undeniably luxurious.
While not situated directly on the slopes, The Chedi is just a 4-minute walk to the main gondola station that accesses the Nätschen and Gütsch ski areas. For the adrenaline junkies the Gemsstock gondola, which accesses the free ride area, is a 4-minute drive in the hotel shuttle.
The Chedi Andermatt offers a ski butler service, which will sort out your winter equipment, among warm wood and vintage 1950s HEAD skis in The Living Room. In addition to delivering and collecting your equipment from the slopes, the ski butlers are the Alps' most reliable source for tips about the day’s conditions and insider tips to help you find the perfect powder. They will also store and service your skis, as well as organise transport by ski bus to and from the local mountains.
During your stay here, you’ll be able to make the most of their breathtaking spa facilities - and sleep soundly in the knowledge that guest passes go for over £150 - available to all guests of The Chedi at no additional cost. The outdoor pool is heated to 34 degrees and highly recommended.
The Restaurant at The Chedi Andermatt is a celebrated culinary destination known for its exquisite cuisine and one-of-a-kind ambiance. The stunning dining room is a feast for the senses, featuring four open studio kitchens that invite you to savor the sights and sounds of culinary artistry in action.
The menu is a delightful fusion of Asian and European influences, offering a tantalizing selection of both classic favorites and innovative creations for you to savor. If you're a cheese enthusiast, The Wine and Cheese Cellar is sure to captivate your taste buds. It's housed within five-meter-high glass walls, and our knowledgeable staff are eager to introduce you to some of Switzerland's finest culinary treasures, making your dining experience truly exceptional.
The Chedi also features 2 Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant's, with one in the hotel and one located on the Gütsch mountain. Feast on a modern five to ten-course Kaiseki menu or opt for more casual dining at their sushi bar - serving up the very best sushi and sashimi in Switzerland.
