1. La Folie Douce Hotel

The après ski scene in Chamonix has recently been transformed by the introduction of La Folie Douce Hotel. An all-singing all-dancing apres ski destination featuring a spacious outdoor drinks terrace, live music, and an impressive specially designed indoor apres and club room that adjoins onto the terrace. 

Unfortunately, new government measures mean that members of the public won’t have access to the indoor apres room but can enjoy a DJ set on the terrace from 4pm or cocktails in Le Janssen, the hotel bar from 7pm Monday to Saturday. 2. Chambre Neuf

Chambre Neuf is an infamous Chamonix après spot that serves a delicious lunch menu whilst party revellers are still out on the mountain. A great ‘early doors’ option, Chambre Neuf is located within the Hotel Gustavia, which also happens to be the home of our flexiski chalet, The Loft at 272. With live music from 5.30 to 7.30pm Sunday to Friday you can expect a lively atmosphere and plenty of laughs.

3. L'Amnesia

One for those of you who don’t want to let the party end, Amnesia is a popular club in Chamonix. Known for keeping party animals happy with loud music and an ample supply of tequila until the early hours, make sure you’re ready for a big one when heading to Amnesia. Definitely don’t expect a classy cocktail bar - this place is all about the partying.

4. Elevation 1904

Just across the road from Chambre Neuf is Elevation 1904, a great spot to spend the early evening with a mix of those straight off the slopes and those coming out for dinner. This bar is much more akin to those we get back home than you'd expect in a ski resort. Head here early, lean your skis on the stand and grab an outdoor table to enjoy a few beers whilst the sun’s still out.

5. La Terasse

This charming French bar is located on the river and offers a buzzing après ski atmosphere both inside and out. A great live music venue, La Terrace offers regular happy hours and drinks deals. The food here is well worth a mention too - so if you’re having a bit of an off ski day it’s a good shout to head here for a late lunch before the après kicks off. La Terasse even offers punters the chance to win their drinks for free by placing bets on dice rolls with the barman. We like those odds!

6. Le Chamonix Social Club

With 'I'm in Chamonix b*tch' plastered across the doorway and 'come on Barbie let's go party' scrawled across the wall, you might not expect a candlelit wine bar. This stylish après spot is filled with antique knick-knacks and adorned with baroque-style mirrors. They even serve up tasty nibbles to go with the deliciously drinkable wines.
